This Network was set up for business women to meet like-minded people and also take advantage of our skills exchange. We circulate what you need for your business or yourself and what you will give in exchange.
Network Lunches are every two months with a speaker, at a cost of £45 comprising £25 for a three-course meal with wine while £20 goes towards supporting long-term unemployed who get on-the-job training to obtain permanent work in the hospitality sector. This is a guilt-free occasion as 100% of the profits are ploughed straight back into the charity, Training For Life.
To attend a Network Lunch simply email Val Corbett at val@trainingforlife.org giving your job title and 3 or 4 lines of job description and you will be placed on the invitation list.
The next lunch is on Thursday 26th November 2009.

26 November Lunch
The Dartmouth Apprentice Professional Women's Network is 4 years old in November so the lunch on the 26th will celebrate this on American Thanksgiving Day. The menu will reflect these two great events and your guest chair will be Baroness Dean who dragooned the Network organiser into being ....
The speaker: Val Corbett "As I said to the Queen, this talk involves a lot of name-dropping."
Find out how a girl from Seth Efrica who didn't wear shoes until she was 13 (untrue but it sounds good) conquered (ish.. very ish) the UK media. Find out how a wardrobe malfunction (similar to the picture on the left) – introduced her to her current husband. Above all, find out the life lessons learned along the way.
